Vít, Marek

VÍT, Marek is a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy, University of Pardubice, Czech Republic. Together with Helena Zitková he teaches courses focusing on using popular songs in ELT classes. He is also the co-founder of the popular Czech ESL/EFL portal Help for English (www.helpforenglish.cz) and the co-author of the online learning application English Me (www.englishme.cz). He has a wealth of experience as educator at elementary, high school and college levels. He was awarded the LABEL Award “European Language Teacher of 2008” by the Czech Ministry of Education. His professional interests include Computer Assisted Language Learning, ICT in ELT and other innovative methods in ELT.
