Visintini, Gloria

VISINTINI, Gloria is an academic educator, responsible for digital education in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Bristol. After teaching Italian for several years in the School of Modern Languages, in 2011 her role was extended to inspire and empower colleagues across the Faculty of Arts to teach through innovative methods in order to help students become confident and autonomous learners, fluent in the use of different technologies, and to develop multiple skills. In 2013 Gloria was awarded the University of Bristol Teaching Fellowship and in 2015 she won the Bristol Education Award. She became a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy in 2016.
