Gari, Aikaterini

GARI, Aikaterini is Professor of Social Psychology and Director of the Laboratory for Creativity Development (2017- today) at the Department of Psychology, School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has been elected member of the Executive Council (2014-2018) of the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (IACCP) and she has been appointed (2002- today) Correspondence Member for Greece of the European Council for High Ability (ECHA). Her main interests include the empirical study of attitudes and values, modern family’s structure and function, community well-being and socio-psychological characteristics of children/ adolescents with high abilities and attitudes towards the gifted with learning difficulties. She has published more than 65 papers and chapters in peer reviewed journals, congress proceedings and books.
