Abstract

This article reports prerequisites and expectations mathematics teachers were facing at the beginning of two research collaboration projects within the framework of the German federal state educational initiative LemaS. The article also outlines the teachers’ developments and resumes after more than five years in this project, in particular with regard to their daily lesson design. Based on these insights, conclusions for further cooperations between researchers and teachers within and beyond the German LemaS initiative are outlined.
