Abstract

A key challenge in teaching evaluations at universities is achieving sufficiently high response rates, i. e., student participation in the surveys. Limited usability of the collected data due to low participation rates is problematic as well as widely discussed and exists at almost all universities. This article presents specific strategies that have led to a significant increase in response rates at an organizational unit at Witten/Herdecke University. Finally, further implementation perspectives are outlined.
