The digital transformation poses significant challenges for schools. Empirical findings to date point to considerable digitalization-related educational inequalities among students. Considering this, the current social structuring of the five dimensions of the digital divide in Germany is analyzed based on ICILS 2023. The findings indicate that social inequalities exist in all dimensions. Schools should actively address these issues.
