Abstract

Data-based development of teaching practices is often requested, but still rarely realized in a substantial way with respect to subject-matter requirements. The narrative-conceptual survey article presents the basic ideas, ideal processes, typical challenges and conditions for success, from which subject-specific necessities for systematic external support and monitoring for data-based improvement of subject-matter teaching can be derived.
