Abstract

The report provides insights into the learning method of Research-Based Service Learning (RBSL). By linking inquiry and civic action, RBSL fosters participation, self-efficacy, deliberative competence, and epistemic judgment. Using the project “A Playground for Children’s Rights” as a case study, it illustrates how schools, academia, and society can merge into a powerful learning space for democratic practice.
