Abstract

This article presents the central findings of a qualitative study that investigated how Swiss primary school teachers perceive the implementation of ESD education with the inclusion of artistic practices. For this purpose, teacher interviews were content analyzed in central areas where ESD and artistic practices intersect. The results indicate, among other things, that this ESD education can stimulate vision development and enhance participatory approaches. The findings provide impetus for the contemporary development of ESD lessons.
