Abstract
The Leopoldina discussion paper on the risks of digitalization for the mental health of adolescents has received enormous public attention. It primarily emphasizes a health science perspective, focusing on the need for regulation and preventive health education. This article aims to broaden this view by adding a school and youth education perspective and argues for an integrative multidimensional view beyond one-sided approaches. Both perspectives should be considered complementary and integrated into school practice.
