Abstract

Zusammenfassung:
Der Beitrag stellt den partizipativen Ansatz des Projektes „Bildungsinstitutionen und nachhaltiger Konsum“ (BINK) zur Entwicklung von Maßnahmen vor, die nachhaltigen Konsum
bei Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen in Bildungseinrichtungen fördern. Im Zentrum stehen dabei die Fragen, wie sich Konsumpräferenzen im Zusammenhang mit nachhaltiger Entwicklung und globaler Gerechtigkeit bei jungen Menschen ausprägen und inwiefern sich diese durch die Teilnahme an dem partizipativen BINK-Projekt verändern. Zur Beantwortung dieser Fragen werden Ergebnisse aus begleitenden empirischen Untersuchungen dargestellt.

Abstract:
The paper presents the participatory approach of the project
“Educational Institutions and Sustainable Consumption” (BINK), which aims at developing measures of interventions to promote sustainable consumption among youths and young adults in educational organisations. It focuses on the analysis of student consumption orientations in the context of sustainable development and global justice and on how these can be changed through participation in BINK project activities. Results from an accompanying empirical study are presented
to further investigate these questions raised.
