Kruse, Otto
Otto Kruse has worked as a professor in the field of Applied Linguistics at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and was director of the Centre for Academic Writing. A psychologist by education, he is specialized in the teaching of academic writing and has taught writing in numerous degree programs. He was involved in several international research projects exploring writing in European higher education means and on the teaching of academic writing. Since his retirement, his research focuses on the digitalization of writing. Together with Christian Rapp he created “Thesis Writer”, a tool to support dissertation writing.
