Global learning has become quite popular. Scrutinized under a postcolonial perspective we will render some problems with the approach visible. After outlining roughly the aims of global learning we analyse some concrete examples focusing the legacies of historical global violence in the context of colonialism and decolonization. Subsequently, some postcolonial pedagogical ideas are presented. Finally, we propose a critical supplementation.
