From Training Schools to Research Schools
Practice Schools in Austria
In Austria, schools affiliated with University Colleges for Teacher Education have a long tradition as places where future teachers are introduced to school practice as part of their curriculum. Currently, they are undergoing a process of transformation. The article deals with the changing tasks of these schools within the framework of a new teacher training in Austria and maps their way to schools of innovation and research.
