Ein gesundes Lehrerkollegium durch Salutogenes Leitungshandeln

Teaching is very stressful and challenging. With a sample of 3.300 teachers from 125 schools, we investigated the effect of individual variables and school variables on teachers’ stress using a multilevel analysis. The results show that teachers’ stress varies depending on schools. Moreover, we could point out that behavior of school principals that focuses on health and well-being of teachers has a positive and significant effect on teachers’ stress.
