Abstract

The European Voluntary Service (EVS) is a support program of the European Commission, which has existed for 20 years. Every year about ten thousand young Europeans go abroad as a part of this program in order to participate in non-commercial projects and to gain international experiences. In my master thesis, I compiled a survey in order to investigate, if former European Volunteers feel more European than before after having completed their project in a foreign country.
