How School Violence Prevention Can Develop Social Skills of Students

Abstract

Prevention of violence in schools is of particular importance for school research and school practice. This paper highlights the school as a context of violence prevention. Based on the latest results of school violence research and findings of school violence prevention, the importance of program and school climate approaches for the promotion of social skills of students is argued and discussed.
