In the light of a predicted teacher shortage, the Bachelor/Master system will be compared to the Staatsexamen [State Exam] in order to determine which is the most effective in terms of length of study, final grade, and graduation quota. Data show that Bachelor/Master students study faster and receive better final grades. However both systems produce disturbingly low graduation quota.
