Postschulischer Analphabetismus – Rückfragen an die Pädagogik des Übergangs

A significant number of adolescents leave school without having acquired sufficient literacy competences. Therefore, in the pre-vocational education system these young people should be supported to preserve their low literacy and numeracy skills. The article sketches some outlines for a basic education program focusing on the difficult living situations disadvantaged young people have to cope with. Recommendations and examples will concretize the didactic considerations.
