Johnson, Alexis K.

Alexis K. Johnson is creative director for UK arts organisation AKarts, associate lecturer London Southbank University and a participatory artist. Her research areas are arts, equality and togetherness through mass participatory arts and adult learning. She has led a number of cultural programs that explore these themes, contributing to Brazilian Cultural Paralympics, UK Cultural Olympiad, European Capitals of Culture and British Council’s West Africa Creative Cities.
