Master in Social Science. Before retiring, she was Counsellor of Education at the Finnish National Board of Education. She was actively involved in the ongoing curricular reforms of preschool and basic education as well as preliminary education for general upper secondary schools for migrants. She has initiated and chaired several development processes on international and Global Education.
