Maria Tulis (geb. 1978) ist Akademische Rätin a. Z. am Lehrstuhl für Psychologie (Prof. Dr. Markus Dresel) an der Universität Augsburg. Ihre Forschungsarbeiten beziehen sich auf die Regulation von Motivation und Emotionen in Lernprozessen,
insbesondere bei der Bewältigung von Hindernissen und Misserfolg. In erster Linie fokussiert ihre Forschung das Zusammenspiel zwischen der Selbstregulation von Affekt, Motivation, (Meta-)Kognitionen und Lernen aus Fehlern. Ihre Arbeiten umfassen prozessbezogene Untersuchungsmethoden, quantitative und qualitative Verfahren und experimentelle Designs. Das Thema ihrer Dissertation lautete: „Individualisierung
im Fach Mathematik: Effekte auf Leistung und Emotionen“.

Maria Tulis (born 1978) is Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology (Prof. Dr. Markus Dresel) at the University of Augsburg (Germany). Specifically, her research focuses on the interplay among the self-regulation of affect, motivation, (meta-)cognition, and learning from errors. It involves process related measurements, quantitative and
qualitative methodologies, and experimental designs. The topic of her PhD was “Individualised Practice in Mathematics: Effects on Performance and Emotions”.
