Dr. Ayşe Karaçizmeli is a part-time lecturer working at Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Business Administration. She obtained her PhD from the Marketing Department of Ege University, Turkey. She was employed as a research assistant in Harran University and Ege University totally for ten years. She conducted research in Lille-II University, France as a researcher. As a member of CCT (Consumer Culture Theory) Community, her research area is mainly on consumer behaviour, consumption sociology and gender studies.
