Hummel, Myriam

Myriam Hummel is a researcher at the Leibniz Universität Hannover Institute of Education for Special Needs. A special education teacher by training, she has professional experience teaching students with and without special educational needs. She has managed several international education projects on behalf of bilateral and multilateral donors. In this context, she conducted numerous short-term missions, mainly in the areas of educational management and teacher training, in Central America, Africa and Asia. Her main research interests lie in the field of inclusive education in so-called developing countries with a focus on teacher education and policy development.
