Watzlawik, Jan C.
Jan C. Watzlawik studied cultural anthropology and art history at the University of Tübingen. He taught for more than six years at the Institute of Art and Material Culture of the TU Dortmund University where he also wrote his doctoral thesis about the material culture of protest. His research fields are material and visual culture with a focus on protest, consumption, and fashion. He is also interested in museum theory and exhibition practice. Since 2015, he has been exhibitions officer and curator at the Centre for Collection Development of the University of Göttingen.
