Abstract

Russias war of aggression against Ukraine and the accompanying controversial, often polarising discussions at home pose new challenges for peace education. What is needed is self-reflection and the joint development of new approaches, but also a return to tried and tested methods. This includes orientation towards the guiding value of peace as well as the systematic combination of individual, social and international aspects. In addition to possible measures to promote peace, dialogue and conflict transformation processes, the joint development of a curriculum for peace education is proposed.
