Abstract

The following article describes an academic exchange meeting between Israelis and Palestinians and its aim to overcome prejudices and enemy images via dialogue. Such encounters can help to transcend monolithic black-and-white structures of thinking. “Listening to each other’s story” can evoke empathy and can question one’s own monolithic narratives.
