This article will firstly outline the results of a comparative analysis of texts on ESD and Global Education in the Swiss context. Secondly, based on these results, the potential for mutual suggestions and common questions will be discussed. Merging different regional language traditions of thought in a highly decentralized educational system on the one hand and the diversity of the types of text on the other hand will bring in new perspectives to the current debate at national level.
