This contribution is part of a series of reports about transfer-oriented research projects from empirical school and teaching research. Against the background of the discussion in Germany about existing desiderata regarding a systematic knowledge transfer and the implementation of empirical educational research (cp. Otto, Bieber & Heinrich in this issue), the contribution refers to the efforts to systematize, evaluate and explore the transfer strategies in the initiative “Innovationen Machen Schulen Top” [“Innovations Make Schools Top”].
