Since the beginning of the Bologna declaration in 2001, the new consecutive academic programs in the field of teacher education in Germany have increasingly been expanded and are by now (nearly nationwide) out of trial phase. In the first part, the following article describes the status quo of the Bachelor/Master concept in teacher education. In the second part, the article discusses the following: codes of practise which have been changed by the structural reform, experiences concerning the demand for mobility, and questions with regard to redesigning the practical relevance of theories and to job qualification tests within academic education (training) at the university.
