Abstract

The article combines the widely separated discourses about the relation of theory and practice in teacher education. Therefore, theoretical, empirical and conceptual aspects are merged and discussed. Results are inquiries regarding the self-concept and organization of the relationship of theory and practice as well as perspectives of a “differentiated cooperation” as a basis for the activities of universities, teacher academies, and schools. The article dignifies a productive dialectics of theory and practice.
