As part of a school monitoring system, meaningful self-evaluation tools are needed to evaluate processes at schools and not only their outcomes. In the following the portal for self-evaluation (Selbstevaluationsportal) is presented as a new offer for the evaluation of teaching. A preliminary impact study demonstrates that the feedback of students’ perception of instruction to teachers leads to different processes of reception, reflection, and motivation.
