Abstract
Using Swiss longitudinal data, this study examines the extent to which students with reduced individual learning objectives (RILO) can enter vocational education and Training programmes that match the academic demands of their desired occupation. The results show that students with RILO are systematically more likely to start programmes that are academically less demanding than comparable students without RILO.
