Gankam Tambo, Ina

Ina Gankam Tambo (née Nnaji, 1978) studied educational sciences, philosophy and sociology at the University of Bonn and the Humboldt-University Berlin, where she received her Master Degree (M.A.) in Education in 2005. Afterwards she worked as a teacher for humanistic philosophy of life studies in primary schools in Berlin and later as a research assistant at the chair of Comparative Education at the Ruhr-University Bochum, where she earned her doctoral degree in 2014. Currently she works there at the chair of History of Education, Childhood and Youth. Her main topics of research are discourses on transnational and international education, international schools, international discourses on human and child rights, international and historical discourses on childhoods and socialisation, postcolonial theory and Sino-African cooperations.
