Inequalities in health and health care

There are some reviews on health inequalities from Western European countries already available but they do not allow direct comparison of the 'state of the art' between countries. That is what this book accomplishes. It is a quick guide for finding studies on specific associations like, for example, associations between education and mortality or between income and the use of health services. The format also includes a brief description of study hypotheses, methodology and results. In order to facilitate national and international contacts between researchers, the institution the first author worked with is included.
